Boise, Idaho free film screening of Long Night's Journey into Day, South Africa's Search for Truth & Reconciliation on March 15, 2002(A)

Long Night’s Journey into Day is the story of South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) and the country’s attempts to recognize and heal the wounds inflicted by apartheid. It is is intended to promote a wider dialogue about the practice of reconciliation in the wake of institutionalized forms of injustice or mass atrocity. The discussion following the screening aims to use the film as a jumping-off point to talk about issues of race, faith and justice in Idaho.
