Making Money Make Change 2002: A Gathering for Progressive People With Wealth(A)

Join the Tides Foundation September 27-29, 2002 at The Trinity Conference Center in West Cornwall, Connecticut for their fifth annual national gathering of young people, ages 15-35, with earned or inherited wealth to:
* Work with others to create a more just and equitable society, and
* Discuss the opportunities and challenges of wealth, strategic philanthropy, responsible consumption, and effective social change activism.
The conference will create a safe, confidential environment to talk openly about the challenges and opportunities related to having wealth. It is open to persons who have, or expect to have, inherited or earned wealth. MMMC aims to develop a community of peers that support creative and informed choices about putting financial resources to work for social and environmental justice.
Making Money Make Change is sponsored by: The Third Wave Foundation, the only national activist philanthropic organization for young women aged 15 and 30; The Active Element Foundation, a non-profit organization building relationships between young organizers, donors, and artists; Resource Generation, an alliance of young people putting their wealth to work for social change; and The Tides Foundation.
Other supporting organizations include: Changemakers, The Funding Exchange, The Jewish Fund for Justice, Money with a Mission, More than Money, Peace Development Fund, Responsible Wealth, The Shefa Fund, Threshold Foundation, and Vanguard Foundation.
