Trillium Asset Management Corporation President Joan Bavaria Named by Scientific American Magazine as One of the Scientific American 50(A)

Scientific American, the premier magazine devoted to scientific innovation and discovery, recently announced the first Scientific American 50- recognizing 50 contributions over the past year to science and technology that provide a vision of a better future.
The award honors “50 individuals, teams, companies, and other organizations whose accomplishments during the previous year demonstrate that they have a clear, progressive view of the technological future, and the leadership, knowledge and expertise needed to make that vision a reality.”According to the magazine, Ms. Bavaria was chosen as Business Leader for the Environment for her “ongoing efforts to direct investment capital toward companies that are estimable for their social and environmental significance, not just their financial return.”
