Mossville, Louisiana Site of Trillium-Organized Environmental Justice Tour is the Subject of CNN Documentary

CNN “Toxic Town” Broadcast –June 2 and 3, 8PM Eastern, featuring Mossville, Louisiana  and CNN’s Dr. Sanjay Gupta
Mossville is surrounded by facilities owned by Conoco Phillips, Georgia Gulf, and PPG Industries, as well as the largest concentration of vinyl manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Governmental health studies revealed that Mossville residents are exposed to high levels of dioxins that are greater than the levels detected in the blood of workers involved in industrial accidents. It’s environmental degradation, injustice and discrimination combined, but the people of Mossville are fighting back with shareholder advocacy, human rights litigation, and environmental justice policies.
